How to deal with being made fun of for being so short?

  • I'm 13 and 5'0 which I don't consider that short! I work as the teachers assistant(we deliver things to students and go get them if theyre parents need them) Well, it's only in this one classroom I get made fun of for being short! Everytime I walk in the room, they start laughing and ask me how old I am and how I'm so short etc. I've never had this before, as most of the time it was just playful teasing by my friends! It's ONLY 6th graders that do this! It really makes me feel bad:(What can I do?

    if you were tall, itd be tall jokes, or fat jokes, or race jokes... its all just people trying to get you to get upset. have a mock "haaa derr" and move on to something else more interesting - just have to learn to ignore it - fact is guys like shorter more petite girls anyway when youre old enough to date and get married, so youll be the one laughing in the end...

i'm two years older than you and the exact same height, stop complaining and be proud of who you are because unless wear high heels until you're 8 feet under or have a huge growth spurt you're going to stay that way(short)

Tell them to shutup and ignore them. One day you will love your height because guys like short girls. Short girls are cute. Haha.

Tell them to stop. I mean you are older, and i was 5 foot at that age too! My aunt who is like 54 is 5 foot for life. Hang in there
