Teens: Do you plan on going to college? Why or why not?

@ just another kid Kids are graduating colleges these days, and still can't find a job In this economy, HELL NO! I'm not gonna spend thousands of dollars for nothing. Kids are graduating college, in debt, and still can't find a job. I persOnally think its pointless. Alot of kids go because their parents want them to go. It's really selfish on the parents part, because when the kid drops out they get up set. Go to college because you want to. From the looks of it, this economy isn't picking up anytime soon. I graduated hs in June and enlisted in the US Navy. When you get out you already have a decent job My mom wanted me to go to college but it's not for everyone. And i honestly can never see myself gong to college. Maybe art or cosmotology school

Definitely. I plan on obtaining a Masters degree, at least. I'm a High School Junior and through a program at school, I'll have my Associates by the end of next summer. I want to go to college so that I can further my own knowledge of the world. Sure, I'll be able to have a better job and whatnot, but I simply enjoy being educated and take pride in it. I wish to become a psychologist.

Yes I plan on going to university! I'm starting grade 12 in a few days and then next year I would love to go for biological science to be a veterinarian. Up to 8 years of university, here I come!

Yes, I want to go to college. I always have. I've always wanted to become a heart surgeon. They pay good money.. which its hard to find a good job anymore. And Its always interested me. Not for sure why, I just love helping people. If not a heart surgeon then something else in the medical business. Tho I haven't finished high school yet. I hope to, :)

yes, i'm going to college next year to major in child nursing :) i'm going next year, because i took a gap year. i don't have money for college or no college funds, but that's not a problem and won't be a problem for you. don't let anything stop you with achieving your dreams and keep doing what you love <3 good luck babe, hope it all works out xoxo

Yes, you sound like you really wanna go to college. I am going because I feel like it's necessary in order to make a living. I can't live off minimum wage working the graveyard shift.

yeah i do. I feel like high school is not enough for what i want to be in life. i want to learn philosophy, psychology, and the art of filmmaking. i can't get that in high school.

Whoa. ME TOO. I'm going so that I can be an author, and will have more credentials and be able to get more writing jobs. I'm planning on going to Vancouver Island University, taking a few Creative Writing courses, Criminology, and Physcology.
