TEENAGERS: How's your relationship with your parents? Is it a good or a bad relationship?

The nice thing is, I can tell them anything. They don't make fun of me like in the cheesy movies, they love me, and they would do anything for me. I trust them more than anyone. Both of my parents are great...my mom is someone I can talk to about anything and rant as well, and she's great to hang out with. My dad is someone I go to when I want to fix a problem, (he helps me sort through it), and then he can make me laugh about anything. So it's equal in different ways. They both trust me a ton. As for typical teenager behavior: no, not really. I love my parents, and I treat them with the respect and love they deserve. (My age will be kept private).

15 years old good relationship

I have no relationship with my mom. We just live in the same house it seems, and she isn't even home most of the day. She does nothing for me anymore. I am basically alone. My dad is dead. I am 15.

It's an alright relationship. When I was 16-18 it was pretty bad because of wanting freedom/strict rules whatnot but right now it's pretty good. I think I'm more like my dad, so I get along with him more. When I was 16-18 I did a lot of running away, fighting, wanting to move out all the time. I'm 20. :)

i have a good relationship with both of my parents, although i will admit that i act like a complete bratty teenager at times towards them.sometimes i will just be mad at them for a stupid reason or not want to do my chores. or i get mad when they won't let me go to certain places, or when they don't let me do certain things, which gets on my last nerve sometimes but i know that they are just trying to protect me and i respect them for that. both of them are very easy to talk to and fun to be around. i love my parents very much and i am very thankful for them (: i am 15

i have a horrible relationship with my parents. im so jealous of my friends who can talk to their moms about anything and how their parents trust them. i show my parents they can trust me and i am responsible, but they still never believe me and think im a slut and r always drinking 100% of the time im out with my friends at night. which isnt true at all. and they push me so hard in school, if i come home and say i got a 95% on a test, the response from my parents is, why didnt u get 100? u dont study enough we're taking away ur phone. it just frustrates me so much. i get along more with my dad cuz hes rarely home so we don't actually get into fights. because of my bad relationship with them and resentment, i do talk back alot, and i find myself lying for the smallest things just because my parents dont give me a break and i learned that lying is the only way to get out of the house these days. i wish it wasnt. im 15

Im a 15yr old girl and im a good kid, i my gpa is above 4.0 im captin of my bball team and i do pretty much everything my mom tells me to do. My relationship with my dad is well...hes not rly like a dad to me. my parents have been divorced since i was 3, my dad lived over 100miles away from me till i was in like 4th grade then he moved to NM (i live in MI) for like 3 yrs now hes in NC. he does nothing for me that a father should do for a child, i sometimes talk on the phone with him and we see him about every 4mo. hes nice nd stuff but i dunno we get along i guesss. My relationship with my mom is alright. She has depression so she was nvr around when i was little, and were pretty poor so she works a lot. She can be really nice and cool sometimes then shell be rly mean all of a suddden and pick away at u till u feel like crap. She lets us do pretty much whatever we want nd she doesnt rly discipline us. She can be rly funny but its jst kinda hard cuz my moms rly stupid(not bein mean shes like for real not too smart) she also has no one to talk to so my older bro and i often have to comfort her. sometimes its like shes the kid. but we rly try not to disrespect her. So yea, i guess thats it.
