Is having opinionated bumper stickers dangerous?

  • I have quite a few opinionated bumper stickers on my car. Most are political. I have a lot of Republican stickers, anti-democrat, anti-obama. Then I also have FFA bumper stickers, and I guess kind of insulting ones? That's what my mom said. I have one that says "I hate to say but my tractor is worth more than your fancy @ss car". Then "REPUBLICAN. Because I have a job, and don't have time to protest." Then as my front license plate, I have the rebel flag. I'm asking this because I have to drive through the city all next week to get to somewhere a couple hours away. I usually stay in my town, but my mom said going into the city like this could be dangerous. I could drive her car, but it's a stick and I'm not too used to it, considering I'm only just 16 and haven't had much time to learn. Would I be better off taking her car, or going in mine? Thanks

    I don't think it's dangerous but I do think it's stupid. No one in the traffic around you cares about your over opinionated views.

Depends on who see's them and how they happen to feel about it.

I for one have seen cars keyed for these types of stickers. If your in the south the rebel flag want be as much of a problem in my opinion. Drive your car its safer for the public. Good luck.

Nah, there's lots of young people with liberal views in the city, they're used to it. No one is going to get in a tizzy over your bumper stickers.

probably not. but, i was in an itty bitty country town in Oklahoma once, and someone keyed fag into my car because of my rainbow bumper sticker ( i kept it :) ) so the reverse might happen, but it probably won't and the chance that someone is going to ram you or something because of a bumper sticker is miniscule. this is america. freedom of speech and whatnot. it's more dangerous for you to drive your mom's stick shift if you aren't comfortable.
