What is it like working two jobs?

Would working two jobs be a good idea?

• Right now I work part time as a cashier at target. I get around 20 hrs a week. Well I really want to apply at a portrait studio for christmas help. I love photography, and I'm even thinking about opening my own business somday. I think that working there would give me a lot of valuable experience. I also go to college (1 class, 6 hrs a week). I am worried thought that I'll be working too much around christmas time if I got the second job. I know I wouldn't be the only one to have two jobs though, so it has to be possible. Also on the app when it ask what hours I'm available what should I put? My parents don't think I should apply, they think that it'll be too much. What do you think, should I apply or not? Thanks!!

  Working too jobs is tough. You have to ne sure you can work your schedule around school and both jobs, because you don't want one to conflict with the other! Also, be prepared to set aside your social life because your not going to have much time in between two jobs and school. You also have to remember that your going to be exhausted, physically and emotionally. But if you think you can handle it, go for it!
