Canadian Student Visa to pregnant spouse?

I ws a student for 5 years in uk &2 years spouse visa.can i aply 4 british nationality atonce aftr indefinate?

• I was a student for 5 years in the UK and then got married to a british national. I was granted 2 years spouse visa from the Home Office, it is almost expiring now and I am preparing to apply for indefinate leave to remain. My Question is Can i apply for a British Nationality straight after my indefinate as I have been living in this country for 7 years now, 5 years a student and 2 years on a spouse visa. I asked the law centre they said i can apply for the nationality and i dont have to wait. I just want to re confirm this. Thanks in advance

  I'm pretty sure you can only apply for nationality one year after having been granted ILR. I didn't think that time spent here as a student counted towards British nationality.
