How do I know when I get my US passport?

Boyfriend asking know ? how long is passport good for in us before we get married ?

If she entered the US illegallly, she will need to return to her country after they get married and wait for her visa to come through. She can only bring her son if she has a notarized letter from the baby's father allowing him to move to the US, or a court order from her home country granting her sole legal custody.
