Can having historical connections in family line help American trying to gain Sweden Citizenship?
-
My father's dad was born Sweden. I want Swedish citizenship to gain a EU passport. Wondering if having a historical person in my family line - aka Pehr Osbeck -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pehr_Osbeck - if this might help gain citizenship? (Also the fact that there are still many many Osbecks in Sweden) - please feel to comment or bash.
