Will the US Immigration know that I received a police caution nearly 10 years ago?

I have an uncle whom overstayed his visa 11 years ago. But his employer sponsered him those 11 years ago.?

Anyhow, he was sponsered and refered to a lawyer by his own employer. those 11 years have passed and my uncle has lost 10 thousand dollars in lawyer fees and the lawyer has failed to contact him when needed, has always given him the run around as well. the only thing my uncle received was his work permit and social security number. a few months ago he got a letter stating his case was closed adn then we found out it was b.c the lawyer failed to respond or get back to immigration. We now know that he does this to many others as there are other lawsuits pending against him and have also tried to retrieve his case paperwork through another lawyer and he is refusing. to make matters worst, the system has caught up with my uncle adn he received a letter last week stating he is facing deportation bc they realized he overstayed his visa and he needs to come in for fingerprints. I kno theres hope, bc i feel we can fight this, but i need help!

  I know many people who have been in that situation, but paying $10000? that is just absurd in my opinion. If you have all the tracking record, you can find that lawyer on the board and he/she will be in serious trouble with the board. I suggest you get a second opinion from a different lawyer.
