  You don't. Almost all employment visas available for practically any country in the world require that the EMPLOYER obtain the visa for their employee. You cannot apply for employment visas! However, you must ensure that you are fully qualified for a specific type of employment visa/work permit and have all necessary documentation before you start applying for any jobs. US - you need at least a university degree + experience for starters. There are over 31 million Americans desperately seeking work now. Employers are not willing to spend the time, money & hassle getting employment visas when Americans are readily available and much cheaper. The US has a major glut of workers - real unemployment rate was 22.5% in Sept, and rising. UK has high unemployment & few if any needs for foreign workers. Canada might still need some experienced mining engineers with masters degrees from internationally recognized Schools of Mines (e.g. Colorado) for jobs in the Northern Territories next year (it's usually seasonal work in the Arctic). NZ has drastically reduced the numbers of foreign workers. Australia has few needs. EU countries - preference for citizens of the country. 2nd preference is citizens of other EU countries. Anyone not an EU citizen will have a very dificult time getting work in any EU country. They have more workers than they know what to do with, too.
