How can i bring my mother and brother to the USA?

They are non-US citizens and have never been to the country. I am a US citizen, over 21 and working. I would like to know where to start the process without an expensive lawyer. Also, they are coming from the Domican Republic. My brother is under 18 and my mother is old. lol Would appreciate the help. Thanks!

You can file I-130 for your mother and brother each. Your mother's process would take about 1 year until she gets immigrant visa at US Embassy after interview. U must contact a lawyer/adviser, he can tell u hw to process ur application, hw much it'l cost, hw to handle it. Adviser's wil tel u hw long will it take to get ur relative in usa. Bt i can assure u, if u hav good records of paying govt tax & having a good bank balance, it'l b lot easier to get them in usa. Dat can help u a bit.

yes you can file for both your mom could be here in about a year .. your brother in about 11 years and no he cannot wait in the US problems : You say you mom is elderly you do know she cannot get any free medical help and as her sponsor you may well be liabe to massive medical bills http://www.uscis.gov/USCIS/Resources/A1en.pdf
