    Ain't gonna work no place unless ya larn ta spell! That said, often a volunteer job will lead to a paying job, scope out groups like the American Cancer Society, the local Chpater of the American Kidney Society, any group that provides outreach for the communitty, work hard, get friendly, and soon you will have the confidence of co-volunteers many of whom can steer you to a legit job. Seriouslly. Volunteer work is one of the best ways to find real work. That said, fast food resteraunts often have exemptons for those undr age 16, but you will find that most places hire 16 and up. Most of all, use ads only as leads, go in person to places, hunt down the human resources/personnel department and get in someone' face in a good way, show your enthusiasm and drive and that will work wonders, escpedially stores, bagging groceries sounds low but many store managers that I know started out with that job. Oh, and Car dealerships, often they will hire youth the wash and 'detail' cars, of course some have ulterior reasons so be prepared for grabb #ss games, but if you are tough you should be able to handle yourself. Young man: go back to school. The only jobs for your education is manual labor, hard work. You will never get ahead without a college degree. Have you been paying attention to the news? 15, 25, 50 % unemployment. Go back to school. If you go to work, the boss will screw you out of your money. Plus, it is illegal for a 14 year old to work at most jobs. Grow up.

Well if your looking for a real job in the state of KY you will need to get a permit to work (you can only do this if you have a reason to work, disabled parent, etc.) and you will also need your parents consent. Otherwise you wont be allowed to work at an "real job" as you say. Granted in most cases they wont allow a 14 year old to work (b/c of school and etc.) Otherwise, you will need to find another way of obtaining work. (mowing lawns, babysitting, tutoring younger kids - if you are able) maybe find a business that is privately owned (not coperate) and asking them if they have something you could do. I knew a 14year old girl who lived south of louisville who busted tables at a local pizza place that was privately owned (I do not know how she was paid, may have been under the table) But I know she only worked a few hours and didn't do labor intensive work (she cleaned tables and took out the trash)

Um... I don't think you can get a job at 14 that is not mowing lawns or babysitting..lol But maybe you can work some place where you know the manager or owner or whatever.. Idk I live in Illinois so i don't really know about Louisville... My uncle lives there though.. lol .. yeah Ik that helps aloooooott ... But Idk just get a news paper or whatever.. All I know is that you are lucky that you are a 14 year old boy.. A lot more job opportunities than if your were a 14 year old girl.. :\ Basically only babysitting lol.. Sorry I wasn't of much help.. But good luck anyways:)
