How do I change my passport?

Hello, i want to know how to change adress in the passport issued by mumbai office?

• i hav a passpoert issued by mumbai office. while appling for the same, i had given both my adresses, current and permanent. and my passport shows the current adress. the problem is, i am not able to give passport as residence proof, as it doennt show my permanent adress. how to change adress in passport now?
