CAN I BUY A HOUSE IN USA IF I HAVE A B1, B2 VISA?

  • I has been in USA many times , now my partner and I wish to develop a business in USA, and I want to buy house in USA. . What do I need if I have a tourist and business VISA (B1,B2) for ten years?? Is it possible for me to buy a house rigth now?

    You can buy a house. You are not going to get a loan, but if you pay in cash you can buy a house. with a B1/2 visa you can live in the US up to 6 months out of year. You cannot work in the US. Owning a house in the US will not give you any right to live there. Also don't forget that you will have to pay property taxes, whether you live there or not. Probably only practical way to do this is getting a multiunit house, rent all units except for one. Get a company to manage the property. Use the empty unit whenever you are in the US.
