Answer:
You would have to become a legal permanent resident of the US first. You cannot take the bar exam, you cannot practice, you cannot work. Besides, the US market is glutted with attorneys and over half now earn less than $50,000/year - not enough to live on when you owe $100k-250k in student loans, debts. No job for you! None for anyone else, either. A friend's son just graduated in the Top 10 from a top NY law school, law review, more qualifications. Got a great offer. Only 10% of his graduating class has any job at all 6 months after graduation, i.e. 18-20 months of job hunting. There's over 400 newly minted attorneys looking for jobs from just ONE school!

Once again ibu Guru hit the nail on the head. If you come to the United States with close to one hundered thousand dollars of debt only making about 50 thousand a year being a civil lawyer your setting yourself up for a fast track to bankrupcy. The loan companies give you six months to start payments on your student loans until the interest starts to accumulate. What you'll see if you come to the united states is six months pass and you save up some money under best circumstances. Interest payments start to compound monthly or something and you start seeing 2000 dollars interest payment bills a month which only leaves you at most of 1-1.5 thousand a month for a car payment, housing payment, FOOD, general living expences. I strongly reccomend that you stay in India for the time being.
