How to know about the status of my passport?

How can i know the status of mine passport?

Hi frnds I applied for mine passport 3 months back. Last week when i checked the status of mine passport ,It was showing to submit all original Documents @ the Head Office @ Delhi I carried all documents with me When i discussed this issue with the office ,Officer pointed out that in your birth certificate parents name and in the Passport application are different .So fill a new application and request letter intimating that please update the same name which is in the Birth Certificate Now it had been two week ,Still it is showing the same status can you please guide me what should i do now .....
Answer:

Call USCIS or check the website. You might need to provide more information but I would call them asap. If you do not and your application is set to inactive you will have to apply again and pay the fees, so give them a call you can find their number on their website.
