Is an IDP (International Driving Permit) issued in India is recognized in Malaysia?

I have an International Driving Permit with valid Driving Licence from India & I am on visit visa to Malaysia. Is my IDP is valid in driving car in Malaysia or do I require to visit JBJ office for any endorcement?

Answer:
yes this a international licence for a temporary use of one month but you all have to carry your indian licence along with the international drivers licence.
