What does it take to work for the UN?

My mum is a filipino migrant living un uk for twenty years how can she take me to live and work in uk.i'm 33?

  • years old married.i've been to uk as a tourist three times already

  • Answer:

You will have to apply for a work visa which is a lot harder than it was before. If you are unskilled it's highly unlikely you will get a work visa. By early 2010 estimates are that will be 3.2 million unemployed

There aint no jobs here matey, stay where you are

Well i Never!

coming over her on holiday doesn't make any difference. Even though your mum is here your a grown up with a family if you want to live in Uk so badly (which i cant understand with our current economic state!) then you'll have to fufill the immigration requirments yourself. Your mum doesn't make any difference at all. It's not like your a minor i.e <18 years old. You and your partner want to live here you need to sort it out yourself. Plus why are you wanting to come over here anyway thers no jobs! and the jobs there is should be given to English people anyway.

missbillows

If you are 33 and married, you cannot be sponsored by your mother for immigration. You would need to apply for a work visa or find a company willing to sponsor you. But in this economy, it would be almost impossible for a company to sponsor as there are already so many qualified EU citizens who are looking for job

honestly UK is not the place to work nowadays as we are in a really bad recession and theres no jobs available...UK is full up id stay as far away as possible

Its not that easy ! You are above the age of 18,if you were under 18 years old it would be easy to take you there, but now when you are a 33 year old woman its kinda hard after the goverment is making it harder for people to immigrate to Great Britian. The only thing you can do is try to find work in Britian. Good luck

Life is Life

If your mother is a British citizen she can bring you over as family, especially if she's getting old and needs support and care from you. Contact the Home Office.
