When should I ask her to marry me?

My birthday Is the weekend after Valentine Day.. And my girlfriend has a surprise trip planned for me for my birthday..I want to ask her to marry me, do you think I should ask her to marry me doing my surprise trip or ask her on Valentine Day..I wanted my surprise trip to turn into her surprise trip....When do u think I should ask her to marry me?????????

If you have been talking marriage then she will be expecting it v-day. I think the weekend after and tell her all you want for your birthday is for her to be your wife...

Ask her on your b-day. V-day engagements/weddings/etc are romantic but cliched. Do it on your birthday because she'll never expect it and THAT'S when it's great :)
