Starting the marriage business(Minister for hire)?

  • I am not sure how to get myself out there I am a legal Minister and have preformed a marriage ceremony. I do things your way religious or otherwise as long as it is legal. I am working my way though college and only charge 150 if the place of choice is too far I charge 175. Thanks for your advice Michael

Hi Michael, I, too, am recently into the wedding business and I know how difficult and competitive it is. The best advice I can give you is to try to get your name out there as much as possible....Craigslist and other classifieds, (post and search for help wanted), local internet listings like Google and Yahoo, etc. Also try your local papers, (that is, if their advertising fee isn't too pricey). Tell you friends and family and have them keep an ear open for you. I hope this helps. Best of Luck!
