When will my postcard get there?

When will my postcard get there? On Saturday , Oct 9th I sent out a postcard from my post office at about 12pm. Now Sunday of course there's no mail but Monday was Columbus day so there was no mail either. Now the postcard is being sent to someone in the same town I live in . So how long will it take to get to them?

I would think it should arrive by tomorrow (Wednesday) the latest.

Depending on the size of the town you live in, your mail may actually go to another town to be processed for delivery. If you're in a small town then likely it does, if a mid-sized or large town then its processed locally. I would say you should have it Wednesday - Thursday depending on when the last pickup of the day was at the location you mailed it from. If they already had their last collection of the day when you dropped it in the mailbox, then it wouldn't have gone for processing until today.
