If I want to be A Criminal Lawyer?

Pls help me? im asian and im married to American and i want annulment and i cant find any lawyer to help me?

  • Im asian and im married for almost 6yrs and we dont have kids and also we don't have anything at all like even a property for me,now i want him to buy a propery in the PI and he have a compramise that if i well both agree he well buy a property one or maybe, and while were waithing to buy property his making a changes mind i know for sure and then we can apply for my visa and he never agree with it, so i dont have nothing to say to him coz of what he want is his idea not mine, he want him to control me over and over again and i have my right to ask that coz im his wife and i think i deserve it, and now all of the sudden he wants to apply my visa because i know for sure if i give him my passport # he well hold me in my neck and then he well change his mind again, and after all of the year i asked him to get a property here and this is we end up for, annulment ,i said we will buy first here and then we will apply for my visa, but before that he lied to me before that he said he already apply and i find out that he never did so i ask him that if he really apply my visa and he said yes, but he never did, and then after 6 months he said its denied, and now all of the sudden he wants to apply visa for me so he can get my passport # and hold me so i cant never go to the states and demand for my self, its been 6years now and i think i deserve to ask for some property i said that not for me only its for us also, but he want us to buy in the states and now i dont have assurance to him if he really want him to get me a property, and even the saving i dont even know if we already have lots of savings coz he never shared to me. and also i have only gotten my allowance every months like 10% of his salary, and i feel like his gf only not his wife coz of the way he threten me,and now this is how we end up, annulment now i want to get a lawyer so i can file annulment and i dont know where to find good one , pls help me of my problem coz my husband is being an *** to me, and now i dont know what to do coz he said i dont have nothing againts him coz also the lawyer can do anything about me..thats what he said. i want some help so pls help me.!

    you can't get an annulment after 6 years... divorce is your only option... :D

An annulment won't work at this point. Just go file for a divorce, you don't need a lawyer to do that.

It's too late for an annulment. Annulments are granted only withing 60 days of marriage. After 6 years, your only option is to hire an attorney and file for divorce. Good luck

You can only gret an annulment a) within 3 months of the wedding, b) if you have never had sexual relations within the marriage (not consumnated). You need to get a divorce. Call your local Legal Aid (look in government pages) and talk to one of the free lawyers there. they will advise you. Some lawyers will take deferred payments for needy cases. Sounds like another one of these creeps who flies to the Philippines and marries a girl so he can come and go to PI whenever he wants and have a maid/servant/sex partner when he gets there! Makes me furious! I know that in Philippines it costs a lot of money to get an annulment and in that country "annulment" is like divorce in the US. You can go to the US Embassy. Make an appointment and talk to the Embassy people and file a complaint against him as he is a US citizen and is obviosuly lying to you. He can not apply for visa for you without you having signed the application personally and had a medical. If you didn;'t do those things, then you know he never applied. My adopted daughter was born in PI but is Canadian citizen now. she got married in PI and is now in process of sponsoring him to come to Canada as a spouse. He had to sign all the papers personally and have a medical. Your husband is a liar!! Get rid of him and get the US embassy to advise you of how to do it properly! Good luck,

Wow, that was a lot of text for such a small question.... Anyway, it's easy to find a lawyer, especially if you live in a big city. Check the yellow pages or the internet for local firms. BTW, I don't think an annulment is going to work. I think you need to file for divorce.

Annulment happens in the first couple months of being married. You have been married for 6 years which means you need to get a divorce.

6 years? can't annul that sorry its authentic...you need to to get a divorce...there are abillion lawyers just google "divorce lawyer: and start talking to them

This question is very confusing! Why don't you join an Asian church where you can make some connections that can help you. Even if you aren't religious it is a way to get away from your husband and make friends who can help. You can always stop going once you get the lawyer hook-up you need. In this situation I think it's about all I can come up with for you.

What I can gather is you want out of your marriage. Annulments vary by state but without grounds, especially after 6 years, you likely will not be able to get one. You NEED a divorce attorney. If you do not work you may qualify for a legal aid attorney - otherwise you may be able to get him to pay your attorney fees. Many attorneys have a free or inexpensive initial consultation. You may also need some immigration assistance. If you are not in the us get to the US embassy and get some help. Please do not let him continue to take advantage of your lack of knowledge of immigration/divorce etc.
