Do you like this wedding dress, and what colour scheme to do picture?

It's the one I just ordered! I love it! What wedding details/colours do you picture using with it? I'm thinking of doing red bridesmaid dresses and having them hold light pink flowers, while I hold red flowers. Its a February wedding, think Valentines! http://www.bestbridalprices.com/images/privatelabel/fall2010/large/BE93.html PS, please do not be too critical, it's my wedding dress and nobody wants to hear that their wedding dress is hideous.

Answer:
It's an okay dress... just isn't my style is all. I like the THEORY of it, but I would need the overskirt to have more organized pick-ups and I'd need capped sleeves or some sort of strap on it, as well. I don't like the thought of being half naked on my wedding day. Also, pink sounds GREAT, but as an art student let me make a suggestion. You want a Valentine's theme? That's awesome! But I think you should lean away from red. Red and light pink DON'T match, and even the Valentine's stuff you buy is rarely both... it's usually one or the other. So I would suggest that you swap out red with dark pink, and keep the light pink about the color of the pink on your dress. This will mean that nothing clashes in photos, will keep your theme, and could be a TON of fun. It's also very possible, as a deep dark pink is easy to find in bridesmaid dresses (I know, because I was shopping for them for my wedding) and flowers come in both dark pink and light pink. Think of it as almost a hot pink... only more laid back.

I'm not a fan of the dress, sorry. It looks like someone just covered it in some excess pink fabric; it doesn't really "flow" very well. Anyway, I don't think that red flowers would look good against that dress. The color wouldn't mesh very well with the pink overlay. I also don't think that red bridesmaid dresses would look good - in pictures, their dresses would be eye-catching and your dress would fade into the background. I think that a bouquet of carousel roses would look beautiful: http://whitelilaccouture.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/pink-carousel-roses-surrounded-by-camellia-leaves-300x225.jpg (they're light pink with dark pink edges) I'd put your girls in pink, so that everything belonged to the same family. http://www.jasminebridal.com/J_2_1_1_1.aspx?sqno=JPN20110634&j_style_no=STYL20080821001&j_line_no=LINE20080821002&j_line_season=F, or even a medium pink: http://www.davidsbridal.com/Browse_Bridal-Party-Bridesmaids-Shop-By-Color?&colorName=Guava They can carry pale pink or pale pink & white flowers.
That is a big dress! I hope you are fairly tall because otherwise it might overwhelm you. The colors are very pretty and it does look like a Valentine's bridal dress.
OMG, Congratulations and I must say the dress is mind blowing, very beautiful,no words to express it. Yes and do red for the bridesmaid...
I love the gown and I love your ideas! Go for it!!

Wow, it is a beautiful wedding dress. I don't picture anything, but your idea of the bridesmaid holding light pink flowers and you with a red flower will be a lovely sight. I congratulate your taste.
I love it! It's absolutely beautiful. I think the bridesmaids in white would work, as would red. The only problem I could see with red is it might look a little theme-y. If that's what you want to go for, definitely red! If you want a more subtle nod to the theme, white would look perfect. I would probably do white flowers(roses, for the Valentine theme) with pink tipped white roses(half open) sprinkled throughout, to add a little color. The jewelry should be simple, since there's a lot of sparkle going on on the dress. I don't think I'd wear a veil with it though. A fascinator would be pretty, or a birdcage veil if you wanted a veil, or a veil. A rhinestone or feather hair clip with romantic waves would look best for your hair, in my opinion. Congratulations and good luck planning. Have fun and don't get too stressed.
i love it but what i would do is have the bridesmaid in white. so you will stand out and have light pink flowers. it would look beautiful x
It's reall pretty. Red bridesmaid dresses would look great and the flowers sound like a good idea.
