Good Old Hollywood Engagement Ring Examples?

  • Hey all! I just thought I'd come here since my own personal research is not finding me anything. Anyways, I want to propose to my girlfriend of three years and I want to get her the perfect ring. What I know she absolutely loves is classic hollywood films and actors and actresses. She loves movies with people like Rock Hudson, Marilyn Monroe, Doris Day, Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, Paul Newman, Marlon Brando etc. and I would like to get her a ring that embodies that old era of Hollywood film, but I cannot find any examples to work off of. Anyone out there have any suggestions? Good links that show vintage Hollywood engagement rings, or examples of old movie star engagement rings? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all so much. :D

    i typed in antique engagement rings in the search engine One site i found was sylviasantiques.com beautiful rings but you are going to pay a hefty price for a ring like that what i would do is find a picture of what your wanting and take it to a jeawler and let them help you there trained for that kind of thing good luck:)

Type into google images a search on Grace Kelly's engagement ring. Some beautiful images appear-I'm not exactly sure which one is her ring, but they have that timeless elegance from those classic hollywood days. When I typed in 'Grace Kellyengagement ring' into google (not images) a lot came up but I couldn't find any pictures.... I have feeling it was an emeral ring (but I would stick to a Diamond).
