why a reduced ring can be embedded into a sum of integral rings?

Do you have to have a traditional engagement ring? And what do you think of these rings?

Well I dont have time to cut and paste all of them, but my engagement ring is traditional I suppose. Its a square cut diamond solitaire 1.03 carat on a platinum band.

Get what you want no matter what people say, however if price is why you are choosing these other rings, you can get a more traditional ring for the same price if you want and get one of the other ones for a wedding ring. Just do what makes you happy!

hopefully this ring is going to be on your finger for the next 50 years... get the one you want.

You certainly do not have to have a traditional solitaire ring. I know lots of ladies that chose styles very similar to yours. The three-stone engagement ring is also a popular choice. Jewelry companies still advertise the solitaire ring (its a classic), but the styles you chose are actually more popular than you think. Gems other than diamonds are also gaining popularity. The ring should be a style that you love, that fits your personality and lifestyle. Remember, youll have this ring for the rest of your life so pick something youll love forever.

The intention is that you'll wear this ring for the rest of your life so get whatever you feel comfortable with. I would say though that you shouldnt just choose from a picture. Once a ring is on your finger it always looks different. My fiancee picked my ring (And did pretty well) - but i picked my wedding ring. I ended up getting something completely different to what i planned. It might be a good idea to go to an area like the Jewelry quarter in Birmingham to pick your ring. There are hundreds of jewellers competing in price and offering all the choice under the sun. I ended up getting a wedding ring there which was a good £couple of hundred cheaper than one i'd looked at similar in a high street store. You mentioned budget... maybe doing something like that could stretch the budget and get you something you really want. I do like the Sapphire though!

That's fine, you can have those kind of rings and no one will think much of it at all if you wear it on the wedding ring finger. Lots of people go with different types of rings nowadays, I've seen several people who have something other than the traditional diamond solitaire. I have the single diamond like the first thing you mentioned and I like it because you can get the best variety of wedding bands for it, so there's lots of choices. Some of the wedding bands you can get are designed to fit around the diamond and it creates a new look, it's like a whole new ring! So just go with the one you like best!

I like the second one as it looks more like an engagement ring. The last one looks to plain in my opinion. At the end of the day it's what it means to you and if you like it then buy it!

You don't have to have an engagement ring. Some people prefer to put that kind of money into the wedding or the honeymoon or buy a house. I think you really need a wedding ring, however. If you want to have a stone other than diamond, good for you! Better to have what you love, including your fiance!

You're the one that'll be wearing it so get whichever one you want. Who cares what anyone else thinks, you'll be the one looking at it.
