Sadness is overwhelming why can't I help it... 10 points for help please!?

I have been sad lately and I can't help but feel this way. My family is unstable and they have divorced several times on both my mom and dads side. I don't know why but when I listen to music (rap and other songs) I go deep in thoughts and get lost. It's like everything else doesn't matter and I start thinking of my problems. I used to get bullied and I occasionally snap at someone at school. Almost got into a fight a few times and I don't even know what for. I can't help but feel this way and I don't know how to not feel this pain. I rap almost everyday to get my problems on paper and this helps a little but I need something else. Sorry to make this long but I can't stand this feeling. I'm a joyful person at school and stuff but when i'm on my own I get upset and angry. The sadness turns into hatred. My friends leave me left out of things and everyone holds secrets from me. I am left out of a lot of things and I can't help it. Please help me...

You have a good reason to be sad, so don't keep all your emotions bundled up inside you. That could lead to worse things. Try getting a stress ball or going to see a therapist. I know that may not sound appealing, but it will help you a lot. It is also nice to have someone to tell everything to. Let your close friends know how you feel and if they continue to act that way, they do not deserve you.

Being sad just means you've been too strong for too long. Life is a big roller coaster, and most of the time it's more sad and hate than good. I'd suggest things like start going to the gym, and doing things you love. but i understand that this is only temporary fix to a solution. Having someone to talk to is always the best thing.I suggest just talking to someone online, talking about things are really the only way to get it off your chest.

Being from or in an unstable family situation can create ongoing feelings of sadness that need to healed. Also, being bullied is a lot more serious then people make it, being put down by peers for reasons that question who you are can be very damaging. So, first recognizing you have had situations that may have implanted these sad feelings. Now, it's time to put you on the top of the happiness list. Getting help and building up yourself from the inside out is the priority. This can be done with a combination of ways. First, believe in yourself, say positive things about who you are, read positive message from books like "Chicken soup for the soul." etc in the self help section of book stores. Talk to people that are positive that can help like adults, school counselor, mentor from a place like girls and boys club. Get busy with activities that you enjoy and make you feel proud of yourself like sports, drama, music, volunteer work. Whenever you do things that make you feel proud and even have fun will build up your self happiness. It is all about being your own best friend. It is a good thing to enjoy your own company and feel proud of who you are so you don't feel lonely and bad inside. Friends can be flaky, but, if you feel good about yourself then you can more easily overlook and even move away from those flaky friends. Girls sometimes act out because of their own insecurities, their behavior changes from good to bad sometimes with no reason. Just because. If you can stay grounded and feeling good then their behaviors will not matter so much. yeah i feel you bro, been there done that. but i can't really help you out because i don't know ur exact situation. you need to find what you like to do, i like doing whatever makes me feel productive. i work outside in my yard sometimes and do some dishes to help out my mom. it all depends man, and if it's lady problems i will laugh at you. ladys are the last thing that should be on ur mind. do what you love to do and sooner or later a lady that is 'perfect for you' will come around all on her own. positive thinking ;] e-mail me if u need more **** ;]

I suggest printing out what you just wrote and handing it to an adult you trust and respect (someone at school? a family friend? friends mom? gym teacher? cousin? etc). Your thoughts are normal. Teenagers can be hurtful and selfish, and you are not the only kid that has had friends turn their back on them. And it's also normal to share these thoughts with someone that can help, or just listen. It's great that you are seeking an outlet (rap-writing) to get some of your feelings out. Another hobby may also help (outdoor activities? art? writing? journals?) bottom line--- it's okay to feel sad, but don't keep it in. Share it with someone you trust! Hoping you smile soon!!
