Is it true that sleeping on your stomach is bad for your heart?

Heart beating insomnia...What could be a perfect solution ?

  • So I'm asking this question again and again every time I had to lie down on bed and my heart beat for 3 hours being unable to sleep and then what's left is this feeling of heart attack like ache. I mean not like I'm gonna die but it does hurt and feel exhausted. 3 hours of very fast heart beat. It's insane. It's just like after running for a long time and you try to breath. While lying down, below the part between my chest hurts. I don't know what that parts called but it's the part where if you hit, you'll even die cause it's a weak part of a human body. And then 3 hours of waste of life. Lack of sleep leading to too much stress even when doing nothing, making me angry every single second. And have to go to the bathroom because of stomach ache. Can't make good decisions which makes another bad day. Then I eventually get this anxiety and get scared of bed time. These days I do fall asleep but it's when I wake up in the morning and go to bathroom and come back. My endless heart beat and thoughts don't ever ever stop. I tried weak sleeping pills but those just make me feel sleepy and instead make me more stressed because I won't fall asleep. Stronger sleeping pills require seeing the doctor very often and a lot of money. Reading books, tea, hot shower, those are for people who have a better case. Some people will say it's because of second hand smoking of family member. Some people will say because I eat too much sugar or don't exercise or whatever. I don't know. I don't wanna like exercise and eat less sugar for weeks just to find out.

Other answers

Second hand smoking is entirely unrelated. As for the others, you might be left without an option and try them at the end. Though your problem sounds mostly psychological, seeing a cardiologist could also help you, if it's not. Good luck with dealing with the problem.
