Talking german in my sleep. is this common?

How do you stop sleep talking?

  • I used to sleep walk and sleep talk when I was little. I don't sleep walk anymore but My little brother tells me how I talk in my sleep and end up waking him up.My brother said I always talk to him and order him around in my sleep. I always argue with him when I am awake because we aggravate each other and he never listens to me.I think it is aimed at the people I have the most trouble with in the day time that determines who I will be talking to because I used to talk to my mom and uncle n my sleep. I have a lot of secrets and things I I think about that I don't want to let out when I'm sleep talking. This coming semester of college I will have a roommate but I don't want him to here anything I say.I just hope he doesn't hear anything that is from up there in my mind. How can I stop my sleep talking habit before I start revealing my secrets in my sleep?Like my crushes, the things I hate that I don't tell people I hate, embarrassing things that happened to me and dirty secrets I would rather not mention.

  • Answer:

OOOOH... I wanna hear some dirty secrets!! I think we'd need more info to know what's really go on up there. I used to sleep walk/talk when I was stressed or worried about something. I searched the whole house once for my infant niece because she was crying. Well, I thought she was. She wasn't even at my house! Maybe your little brother tells you that you sleep talk still just to get back for all the trouble you've given him over the years. Record yourself. And uh... maybe it's something you should ask some who is qualified to answer. :-) But seriously, can I come stay the night? haha jk
