How to finish high school at home?

Could I really quit going to school and finish it at home?

• I'm in 10th grade now, obviousy I'd need to finish that first. But afterwards, could I finish school at home, via some online learning or something? I used to be homeschooled when I was in early elementary, and remember how little time was actually spent working/learning, yet how much more I actually learned than my peers (i was amazed how poorly everyone read in 2nd grade). I'm slightly against this because I fear being under socialised, but to be honest I don't talk to anyone at school at all, and if anything it is probably making me worse. Could I still be exposed to people my age without going to school? I don't have any friends right now, so I couldn't just 'hold on' to any, as well as the peers in my neighborhood don't like me. Everytime I have a brief break from school (longer than a 2 day weekend) the day before returning I have a sense of emptiness and dread that I'm usually not even aware has anything to do with school, until nighttime when I feel downright anxious like something terrible is about to happen. Maybe I 'get used to' going if I'm there regularly, but I most certainly am miserable there. I don't know what to do, homeschooling sounds like running away from whatever makes me hate school so much, but I just don't see continuing to go making me any more 'well adjusted' than I already am (not)

  You don't have to go to school to socialize. If you want to socialize, you can volunteer at some events or go to church or something.
