  • Answer:

unless you have kept a food diary, you do not know what you are now allergic to. Neither does your doctor. Tapering off any brain-effecting chemical is going to be problematic. Stress to your neurochemical system caused by that can certainly cause some odd internal symptoms, even illness. I would traditionally expect you to have appetite and sleep disturbances, libido disturbances, and minor infections. All par for the course. Anything worse, I'd treat symptom by symptom.

Were you on the prednisone for hives? It's highly possible that you're simply paranoid. There is a possibility that your immune sytem is in overdrive, attacking itself, through hives and/or angioedema. I hate to give you another fear or worry, but it is possible. I would ask your doc why the prednisone, and if this is a reaction to it or your mouth and neck sensations are psychological.

take some liquid benadryl with that stuff . call or doctor and or you local pharmacy they will know if you are. it sounds more like anxitiy then an alergic reaction if you take the benadryl that will make it better

i don't believe you are allergic to the nerve pills and you are right it could kill you to quit them cold turkey if i was you i would go to a dermatologist in fact I'm having to go to one because i think and this Dr I'm seeing now thinks i may be allergic to the dye they shot in my spinal cord
