Has anybody ever gotten their first choice for the rotary club exchange?

Can anybody explain why this cancer guy reacted this way? I know it's long but please read and help me!?

• I'm a cancerian my birthday is the 24th of june, and his birthday is the 25th. When we first met I noticed he liked me, but as a crab he never was direct and I was too shy to be direct as well. The first incident between us was at a ball, he was trying to make me jealous, and when my friend asked to take a picture of her and her sister he made this little heart gesture at me. I didn't now if he meant this or not. When we left he followed us to the entrance and was looking at me. Outside I asked my friend to go get him, but when he stood in front of me I didn't now what to say so I said why are you always looking at me. I saw in his eyes this hurt him, and he denied it. In school he looked at me like he was hurt, and two weeks later he blocked me on myspace. Then summer came, and the year after he had joined the student club and made a lot of new friends. But I still noticed he got shy around me, and stared at me a lot. I once had to buy a card for a concert and he was too shy to look me in the eyes. So I then added him on facebook. That year he acted like he was so popular, and he flirted with a lot of girls, and looked at me all the time. I once send him an email saying I was sorry for what had happened the year before, and he didn't reply, but suddenly he smiled at me and said hi. I asked him out two times, but he never replied, so I removed him from facebook because I thought he didn't like me anymore. After I had done this, suddenly at this party he started dancing behind me really close but I was too proud to turn around so I ignored him. When I later explained he got mad and snapped at me, said I had to leave him alone and I had imagined everything. I didn't saw him after this for half a year, because he was in an exchange program. When he returned last year in February he acted like this never happened and looked so glad to see me. And the rest of the semester he tried to get my attention, but I was still mad, and was waiting for an apology. This never came, so I apologized instead. He immediately replied saying he wasn't mad ... After summer I saw him at this party, but I was a bit drunk, and a guy was hitting on me, and I kissed him. He saw all of this, and looked mad. But suddenly he was dancing next to me and looked at me, so I had no choice but to say hi and smile, he said hi back and smiled at me. The next day however I went to a concert and to my surprise he was there too. So he saw me and smiled at me so happy, but I panicked and looked mad and turned. After this I send him a friend request again on facebook, he accepted. But I was too afraid to explain what had happened. When I finally found the courage to say hi on the chat he didn't answer. When I ran into him a few days later, I ignored him. Then a few weeks later he ignored me etc. Then at this other party, he was trying to make me jealous again by dancing with other girls, so I did the same, but this backfired because he looked mad, and stopped dancing. When we left he watched me go outside. And outside me and my friend where talking with these guys we danced with, so when he came out he saw this, he ignored me, so I tapped his shoulder, and said hi. He said oh hi, fine. Two weeks later he removed me from facebook. So I blocked him for a week. Then send him an email saying I shouldn't have done that, and apologized for that night. I waited for a day, but he didn't reply, so I send him a long hurt full mail saying I had enough, he hurt me enough with his behaviour, that I liked him but he should just leave me alone now. When I first saw him again he looked shy and his friend pointed to him I was passing. Next time he ignored me at first, but then was looking in my face. And last time he was standing behind me at a concert ease dropping what I was saying to my friend, but every time I said something he listened and then he turned around and talked to his friend as well. Now I don't know if he still likes me. I'm still mad at him, but I still have feeling for him. I just don't know what I have to do, and if he will ever apologize?
