Is an enduro a good touring bike?

What size Dual Sport/Enduro bike for me?

• Hi, I'm looking to buy a dual sport bike/Enduro. I'm 6'1 and am usually between 170-185lbs. It will be my first bike ever, of any sort. I dont plan on doing a lot of trail riding. I want one because of their price and mpg. I just don't know what size bike will be good for me. I don't mean power wise, I mean height/size wise. I just don't wanna look like a giant on it, if you know what I mean. I don't really want one over 400cc if possible. I was looking at this bike. I'm trying to spend $2000 or less, if possible. Or would it be a good idea to buy a dirt bike and then make it street legal with a kit? thanks!

  Skip the add-a-kit concept, unless you're an electrical wizard already. You're trying to learn how to ride, so take the thought away from other distractions. A 200 is fine until you want to jump on the highway, then you'll barely get to 55. A KLX250S is an easy find and under 2k. I fear the Chinese knock-off concept.
