What is a good street bike for a female?

What would be a good first street bike?

  • I'm 18, 6 ft 155lbs I am looking at purchasing a street bike in the near future and was wondering what would be a good first street bike for a beginner who has no experience at all of riding. I love the look and performance of yamaha r6's but i know those are probably too powerful for a beginner. What would be better for my height and weight, a 250, 500 or 600?

    i like yamaha and Kawasaki they have some great bikes my bike is a Kawasaki vulcan 900 its not a Crouch rocket its a Cruiser ii love it. a 500 would be a good bike for you but you will want a bigger one later so be careful one what ever you get

any bikes up to 650cc.. that are twin or single cylinder.. or one of the smaller 4 cylinder bikes.. 600cc 4 cylinder sports bikes are not the way to go.. & second hand is good.. unfaired.. that way it doesn't cost you a fortune when you drop it..

id get a yz450 and ride it for a year and then you would have enough experience to get the r6 you want
