How can i make a professional looking cd?

  • Im in a rap group, and we wanna make an album, but i wanted to make it look professional. like, the cover, the case, the cd itself, how could i do that?

    I guess you realize that a truly professional CD would be very VERY expensive, and you're actually looking for something home made that looks good. Are you taking about totally homemade and for free? Then start learning how to use desktop publishing programs, Photoshop, etc. Learn everything about photography, take your own photos, do it all yourself. Or do you want professional at least SOME of the way? Hire a graphic designer for the art work, and a photographer for the photos. Get a light scribe CD burner or CD printer to then make the proper labels.

What you want is a photographer that's trying to make it into concert and music photography. If you give that person proper credit and signed model releases so he/she can also use the pic for portfolio purposes then he or she will likely do the work for little or no fee. So, contact a few camera clubs or advertises in craigs list. Proper spelling and grammar will help with that.
