Tips on getting started with artistic photography?

I have always enjoyed taking artistic pictures of nature, buildings, landscapes, etc. and have recently wanted to start making a little extra money. Does anyone have any tips for getting started on the business side of my venture? I don't ever plan on making a living at this, but some tips would be very helpful. Where can I go to make prints, either online or brick-and-mortar? What size prints usually sell best? How much should I charge, on average, for a nice landscape shot (assuming it's good, of course)? Is there a website where I can post my work and people can purchase it, or would it be best to make my own? I have access to professional framing equipment, so I plan on using that. Are there any books or websites that you might recommend? Thanks for your help! Kevin

Selling photographs as art is not easy. You have to be innovative and make a quality work. Many art galleries deal with photos, some online too, so the best is contact one of them and make a portofolio. Sizes and if color or black and white depends on your interests and on what tendencies or what is fashionable at the art world.
