How do you edit pictures?

How to edit HDI pictures taken from iPhone on computer?

  • I took a few pictures with my iPhone 4s and then i connected the device to my computer then i went to computer and then copied all the pictures and pasted it in a new folder and i have the windows photo gallery and then you can edit the photos but i can't save it because its says that the file can't be saved because of its properties and stuff. how do i fix this. and actually sometimes it doesn't even work with regular pictures, its isn't only HDI ones

  • Answer:

Check first the properties before editing: Right click / properties and see if the "read only" attribute is marked. If it's marked uncheck it and click OK. Try to edit it and it will be ok. Another option is to try to use "Save As..." in the editor instead of "Save", you will be able to save it with a different name.

Other answers

HD has nothing to do with digital photos. HD is a video format. HDMI is an interface for transmitting digital images to a TV. HDI = no such thing Perhaps the images are set to "Read Only" - right click the image file, and choose properties - under Attributes, deselect "Read Only"

First, make sure you are copying the pictures from the camera to YOUR own folder. Create a new one to be sure it's yours. Your problem may be related to file and folder ownership. After editing, SAVE AS to new filename, again to your own folder.
