How can you edit pictures?

How can I edit my pictures like this?

• I've always wanted to know how to make MY pictures like this... I just love the colors, and I almost know for a fact it's not their camera setting, and hopefully it's something you can do on piknic or something because I don't have photoshop. But can someone tell me how to do it?   I don't know exactly how you do that on picnik, but I know you can. You can also do this in GIMP (and get a better outcome). It's not really hard to use, but it takes some getting used to. There are tutorials all over the internet to help you learn how to do things on GIMP. I don't want to explain how to do it on here, because I don't know if you want to use it. But if you would like to, search for 'lomography effects for GIMP' Oh, and it is 100% free.
