How to prevent overlapping in relative layout programmatically?

What kind of paper can prevent marker pen colours from 'overlapping'?

• Okay, when I colour in a large area of color with a marker pen, it is very difficult to make the colors just look like nice clean flat colour, as the bits that happen to overlap while I color it in look like spots of different shade. Is there a kind of paper i can use to prevent this from happening?   You could try using bleedproof layout paper… http://www.artifolk.co.uk/catalog/products/manga_and_cartoon_supplies/copic_bleedproof_marker_pad.htm …which will help, but in reality the answer is no, markers are supposed to build up colour as you add more layers so they tend to get darker where they overlay. In the old days, when you could still buy such things, you could take the core out of a Pantone marker and use it sideways to get a large(ish) area covered, but they were glass tubes with a screw top which you could reseal easily.
