Could someone help me with a signature?

Can someone please help me identify this artist from their signature?

• This painting was passed down to me by my uncle, it's been mounted in my living room ever since. Someone told me that the frame was worth some money, so I'm trying to find out as much as I can about it -- first being who the artist is. If any art-saavy person can help me identify the artist, I would really appreciate it.   Sorry the signature means nothing to me. You are far more likely to get an identification if you show the picture as well (you do not need to add the annoying spaces in urls btw). At least describe the subject of the image. The 2/300 often indicates it is a print, the second print of a limited run of 300 total.
