How do I make a reflective metal on photoshop?

Can you please tell me how to make this in photoshop?

  For the black square with the fading: 1. Create a new layer 2. If you want to do a specific square size, you can do it with the Rectangular Marquee Tool, or just by pressing M 3. Press G or the gradient tool. Make sure is not the paint bucket. If your settings are stablished to the paint bucket keep it pressed until a box opens, where you can select the gradient tool. 4. While clicking the mouse, move it, up or down, depends on what you want. 5. Thats it! Also don't forget to set the colors you want, by selecting on the gradients that are already predetermined up in the screen. To create your own gradient, click on the arrow in the gradients box, wait until the box opens and click create a new gradient. About the other effect, i don know exactly what you are looking for, but to create figures like that, you can use the pen tool. Right click on it after you finish and click stroke path. Hope it works for you!
