What are good items to put a logo on?

Can I put my business logo on my window legally?

  • I'm currently have no job. I'm working at home fixing computer. I don't pay tax. I only make $30 to $70 a day and the money is enough to pay for my rent, bills, and food. I advertise my business on craigslist, google local business page, and my website. My question is, can I put my business logo on my window? I'm not trying to attract more people to my home, I just want my first time customer who come to my place know exactly where I'm at if they recognize my logo. And also my logo doesn't say Computer Service & Repair. It just an image but it might say my website. I just don't want police or IRS come to my home and put me in jail because I don't pay tax. Thank you :)

  • Answer:

If you are going to do this to earn money, you are supposed to be responsible enough to pay taxes. That is just the way business works. Do it right, or don't do it at all. You will eventually be caught, because the people who hire you may list you on THEIR taxes as a Business deduction. Then it will only be a matter of time until you are found out, and the PENALTIES for not filing taxes are MANY TIMES MORE than the taxes. So do it right.

The more you advertise, the more of a profile you have. The more of a profile you have, the more likely it becomes that the IRS will find you. Just pay taxes, dammit. It's the law, and no one particularly enjoys paying your share.
