Does anyone have any good art portfolio ideas?

Art Portfolio for college?

  • Hi, Im from the UK and ive decided to take on art in college (I did higher in school). The thing is i havnt had the time to go from high school straight to college cause my mum was ill for two years(16 at the time - now 18). Ive got a interview this friday and they want a portfolio and i have no idea what i should draw for it? Im abit rusty now. Can anyone give me any ideas and tips pleaseeeeeee? I really need the help.

    Hey my friend just recently had to take her portfolio in...and they asked her for a sketch book full of different things, so i suggest you get drawing and quick ha...include flowers, portraits, still life. using different media to show that you can work with any material..anything..but make sure you draw the things your strongest at and show off your best work. hope this helped :) and good luck in your interview :)

start of by doing NQ Portfolio Preperation. This is a one year course and will gain you a qualification as well as give you a portfolio covering all aspects. Student funding is also available on this course i.e. A bursary.

you dont need to draw anything.. go through your work from gcses and pick out the best pieces.. and bring your sketch books you used for gcse too goodluck
