What are some really good drawing programs?

• I need drawing programs, not Gimp though because it refuses to work correctly on my laptop, but something like Gimp please? I have Paint.net but I really don't like that one all that much.

  but GIMP isn't a drawing program!!! It's an image editor, although it can be used for drawing, that's not it's main purpose. There is absolutely no reason why GIMP shouldn't be working on your laptop. GIMP works on Macs, Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7, and Linux computers. Did you download it from the official website? http://www.gimp.org - did you download the correct version for your operating system. Are you getting errors when you install it - if so what are they, and perhaps we can help you fix any problems. Paint.NET is about the closest there is to GIMP for free, although it's much simpler and not as powerful as GIMP. and Paint.NET is also not a drawing program either, like GIMP it's an image editor.
