Art project proposal?

• GCSE Art project ideas? ;s? OK, so I got told this morning that we all have to choose a project on our own to do for our next piece of art work.. The last project was marine life, and I screwed up big time on half of my pages because It wasn't a good topic. We get to choose ANYTHING apart from cartoons....I was thinking about something along the lines of 'War' but the modern day war doesn't excite me - If I were to do war I'd have to do something about Hadrian's wall and the Romans. HOWEVER, I'm not entirely sure if my teacher will let me do something like that. My only other idea was fantasy - But I'd have to go into depth.. For example.. Alice in wonderland style (Which for some reason we can't do). my teacher suggested that I did still life - But doing that for a project for another half a year will bore me down to a simpleton. I want to use my imagination but I need a set theme and project to go from? I'm also not very good at drawing people.. unless you want their faces abstracted >.> A few of my friends in the class have chosen weird topics like; Manga The human body Music Food They're all a bit too ...simple minded...for me :/ I want to be able to build a world through art.. not just through writing.. if you understand? Basically I need the idea for tomorrow or I'm screwed. Can Anybody help me?? I need ideas like pronto :( And I'm stuck!

  Here are some basic themes to focus on:)- Wildlife. Abstract. Instruments. Famous buildings. Nature. Old fashioned bulidings(like castles) Or here are some more detailed things. Close ups on human features like eyes,lips,hands in different positions. A certain building and draw it from different angles,using different colours,doing an abstract version of it. Money,bank notes,different coins and a wallet all together. Some different styles of shoes together (like a pair of walking boots,high heels,trainers) Something modern right and colourful like a fairground. Hope you liked some of them!:)
