GCSE Art Mock theme ideas - Creation?

  • So today I got given my mock theme for my art, which is creation. I need to brain storm everything I can think to do with creation, and show it in a collage. This collage then has to lead to a final piece. Any ideas or words/phrases/images to do with creation? I've got the obvious ones - the Earth etc, but I'm looking for more out of the box ideas. The only one I've thought of at the moment is destruction, as its the opposite of creation. I like doing portraits so any ideas of how I could use creation or destruction as a final idea would be really helpful aswell. Thanks

    seeds, fetuses, garden of eden, the sun(couldn't have life without it!), the mouth(as it voices ideas, sings, talks etc.), water(impossible for life to exist without it), the brain (as it creates ideas, thoughts), god(?!) or maybe artistic supplies themselves, as you're creating art with them...

Well there's the creation of life, so a picture of a fetus would be good.. google "Leonardo fetus" for that.. he did some great sketches on the subject. Also, pictures of the inside of eggs with the chick fetus.. or photographs of living, growing fetuses would work as well.. maybe both! There are a lot of pictures available of the moment the sperm locates and attaches it'self to the ovum as well.. And on the same sort of theme, seeds germinating and growing seedlings. "The Creation of Adam" (in the Sistine Chapel) by Michelangelo would be good. It shows the moment that God touches the listless Adam's out stretched hand, bringing him to life. Also, look-up "Big Bang Theory".. a theory that explains the origin of the universe (not the t.v. show!).
