What can I do to improve my artwork?

  • ...I know it's really horrible, and I've been trying desperately to make it better, but I keep failing miserably... I really need advice. How can I make the hair/shattered parts more realistic and better? I'm using conte. :$ (P.S- I'm sorry you had to look at it.     Wow, I was expecting something really terrible, but I am actually really impressed. Granted, girl-looking-into-a-shattered-mirror is a cliche picture to draw, but it's still really good. Keep it up. Just use new ideas for your inspiration.

oooooh well you should have dif kinds of drawing utinsuls lol it makes you feel like a real artist and it helps the quality of the picture or w/e

Don't be so hard on yourself hun. That's pretty awesome. You could try adding a few more defined streaks in the hair, but that's the only thing I could think of. Hope it helps.

I think you will achieve what you want by darkening the shatter lines. Darker then the rest of the picture.
