WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE A GOOD MARTIAL ARTIST?

What major do i hav eto take to become a comic book artist or a video game artist.?

    You want a BFA. Not a BA which is easier. Drawing can be as much about understanding as it can be about actually making marks so you want a BFA. I know Walter Simonson got his BFA in printmaking from RISD and another friend got his in Painting. Illustration can be fine, as long as it's a school like RISD or Pratt Institute or SAIC. Any fine arts major should get you the credentials to teach drawing in college, except you want an MFA. Most college positions you want a doctorate but for drawing you just want a masters degree.

if you want to be a drawing professor at the college level, you need to get your masters of fine art, which is a graduate program that comes after you get your bachelors, to work in both those fields i'd say you should be an art major with an illustration concentration. most art departments will have advisers that can steer you in the right direction.
