How to draw scrolling background?

Can someone please give me ideas on what to draw in the background of my twilight drawing?

  • I've been working on this drawing for a very long time and i am stuck on what to draw as the background. With the original photo i used as reference, they are laying in grass but it is really really intricate and im not sure i can pull it off. any suggestions would be really helpful to me. here's the link: http://mshah123.deviantart.com/#/d2u3r5l

To be honest, I wouldn't draw anything in the background; it looks perfect as is. You don't want the background to take away from the perfect drawing you've done of Edward and Bella. If anything, I would perhaps finish off the background like you've done behind Bella's arm on the left side. I wouldn't do much else to the background, though.

Wow. Please don't change or add anything, it looks great the way it is. Adding something in the background will take the eye off the subject and then there would be too much going on in he picture. Possibly a faint fading shadow if you don't won't to leave it completely bare, but nothing too detailed.

Wow, you are an amazing artist! i don't think you should put a backround since it is already amazing and it might take away from the couple but if you really wanted to, I suggest a simple backround such as a night sky.
