Is the Macbook pro 13 inch a good computer?

I'm 14, would a 13" MacBook Pro be good for me?

  • I am saving up for a MacBook Pro. At first I was interested in the 15 inch, but I only have like $980 right now, and I'm considering the 13" instead because I am only 14 and it will be a while before I have another $1000. So..is the 13" too small? I have a 15" Dell laptop right now, so I am not sure how much of a difference a 13" will be. I am not able to go to a store and test one out, I just wanted to go the easy route and ask those who have already used one. If I choose the 13" not only would I not be super duper poor, but I'd also get it faster because I'm not that far away. So, my general question is...is the 13" too small, and will it be hard to get used to because I'm using a 15" right now? Also is it a good computer overall? Thank you SO much in advance, I just want to ask around before I make a financial mistake or something...I'm too young for that! ;)

    The way I see it, the screen size is just for whatever you use the computer for. I have a 17" MacBook Pro because I'm a graphic design and photographer. I like to see things as big as they can get. But if you just use your laptop for email, youtube, facebook, etc. A 13" is probably better than a 15" because its more portable. Although if your an avid movie watcher you might want the 15". Anything with the apple logo is a good product overall ;) Can NOT go wrong I promise you.

Im on one as we speak, love this computer, it wont be a big deal, a minor difference that you will adjust to quickly... as to the "financial investment" macs are better for the long term, their OS get free updates o you'll always be running the latest software at no extra cost, ive had mine for 3 years and its just as fast as it was when i took it out of the box. No need for much anti spyware and such, because most virus' are targeted towards windows. To answer your question, yes buy the 13' , it is a great computer, and you wont regret it no matter what the "Apple haters" say.
