What is the best Vaio laptop?

Should I get a Sony Vaio or Lenovo laptop and in what model/series?

• I am looking for a laptop that will be good for college and entertainment. I do a lot of typing as I am in college and also like to write on the side for leisure so a well designed keyboard would be nice. My sister has a Sony Vaio E Series and I particularly like the way her keyboard is set up. Some other things: I like to listen to music a lot, watch music videos online, browse the web. I also like to play The Sims 2 so a laptop that would allow for an enjoyable experience in that aspect would be nice. The last laptop I had made the shorelines of the neighorhoods look "choppy" or "unsmooth" which was annoying. That is the only game I play though so I don't really need a top of line graphics card, just a good one. I also would like a laptop that is relatively sleek and light but not made so that it feels like it is going to break when I pick it up. Desired Specs: Screen: 15"-16" Processor: at least Intel Core i5 Hard Drive: at least 500GB Memory: at least 4GB Cost: Preferably no more than $800 but might be able to go up to $900 And by the way, I did have a Toshiba Satellite Laptop that was 3 years old but had various problems with it. So, I don't feel comfortable purchasing another Toshiba laptop in case someone was going to suggest one. Thanks!

  If you're going to college, get a macbook. Their keyboards are even better than the sony keyboards, and macs are really easy to learn. I do a lot of writing, both technical and columns for the local news, and I'm writing a novel :) Every time I type on a friend's laptop, I appreciate the apple keyboard even more :) The Macbook Pro can also handle games really well, I even play skyrim and Sims 3 on mine :) The only problem is price, so if you can't afford it.. that's okay. Get the vaio because the keyboard is great.
